Saw Cutting + Diamond Cutting

Residential Flatwork

Saw Cutting & Diamond Cutting

Not every job is a pour. Sometimes existing concrete needs a clean, straight cut — control joints in a slab, a section removed for repair or plumbing, an opening cut without wrecking everything around it. Diamond blades and a steady plan get it done precise, not brutal.

The Clay Challenge

What This Ground Does to This Work

Even cutting work is a clay story here: slabs poured without control joints crack wherever the ground decides. Sawing joints into an existing slab gives that movement somewhere clean to go — a straight line you planned instead of a jagged one you didn't.

The B&T Spec

What's Included

  • Walk-through to mark cut lines and confirm what runs under the slab
  • Diamond blade cuts — straight, clean edges
  • Control joints cut to the right depth for the slab, not just scratched
  • Removals broken out and hauled off without damaging what stays
  • Wet cutting or dust management planned per job — we talk dust expectations up front

Who It's For

Homeowners needing control joints added, a cracked section cut out cleanly for replacement, a trench cut for a plumbing or electrical run, or a precise opening in existing residential flatwork.

Who It's Not For

Structural wall sawing, commercial demolition, or core drilling contracts — residential flatwork cutting is our scope.

Proof Before Pour

The Process, Applied to Your Saw Cutting + Diamond Cutting

1.Walk

A sit-down and walk-through before ground breaks. Nothing gets assumed — grade, drainage, access, and what you actually want out of the slab.

2.Prep

Base compacted. Rebar set. Bradley photographs the base depth and steel and texts it to your phone before any truck backs in.

3.Pour

Owner on site for every pour. A jobsite photo texted to you by 5pm every work day, so you always know where your project stands.

4.Prove

A final walk-around with you before we leave the property. You keep every photo of what went under your concrete.

Timeline: Most cutting work is done in a day. If we're cutting out a section to repour, the pour follows our standard proof-before-pour prep.
