Pricing & Cost Expectations

What You're Actually Buying

No invented numbers, no games. Here's what moves a price up or down — and what the lowball bids leave out of the ground. Every estimate is free and in person.

What Pushes Price Up

  • — Demo and haul-off of old concrete or gravel
  • — Thickness + rebar spec for heavier loads
  • — Drainage correction before the pour
  • — Tight access for trucks and equipment
  • — Distance from Akron
  • — Total square footage

What Brings Price Down

  • — Clear, open access
  • — Standard broom finish
  • — Smaller scope — above the 200 sq ft minimum

The 200 Sq Ft Minimum, Stated Plainly

Mobilizing a crew, equipment, and a concrete truck costs the same whether we pour 80 square feet or 800. Below about 200 sq ft, the honest price stops making sense for you. Rather than quote small jobs high, we set the minimum out loud and stick to it. Smaller walks and pads often pair with a patio or curbing to make the trip worth it for both of us.

Who Shouldn't Hire Us

If the only number that matters to you is the lowest one, we're the wrong call — and we'd rather say it here than in your driveway. The lowest bid gets there by deleting what's underground: the compacted base, the steel, the drainage. That work is invisible on pour day and shows up as cracks by the second summer. If you want a fair, firm number with photo proof of every dollar that went in the ground, that's exactly what we sell.
